Miriam L. Rivera Irizarry, MD, attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico, and received her medical degree in 1995. Then, she served her internship and internal medicine residency at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas in Ponce, Puerto Rico. In addition, Dr. Rivera received board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
